Jackie Burbridge
Jackie has conducted research on corporate best practices for inclusive hiring initiatives, including job placement for marginalized individuals such as those experiencing homelessness, the differently abled, and the formerly incarcerated, as well as support options for parents and guardians of young children struggling to afford quality preschool and childcare services. She is also a trusted advisor to funders and intermediaries, providing strategy support, grantee coaching, and participatory grantmaking design.
Along her journey, she has earned certificates in Nonprofit Development and Management from the Association of Fundraising Professionals; Advocacy from the National Urban League; Leading in Community at Adelphi University; and a fellowship with New York Education Trust’s Parent Fellowship Program. Jackie also holds an MBA from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business and a BA from Spelman College.
